  • Analogy Interpolation Method for Heterodyne Interferometer

Chung-Ping Chang, Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, National Chiayi University, Taiwan

    Contact email: cpchang@mail.ncyu.edu.tw

"We propose a novel analogy interpolator based on LIA principle, capable of processing heterodyne interferometric signals and generating output signals compatible with commercial motion control systems. This method allows for multiple implementations to achieve higher interpolation factors, eliminating the need to compromise between resolution and speed. It is highly advantageous for advanced precision positioning applications."
